The next little five-minute video was shot a few years ago, just before the third Murder Squad book came out. I thought Tana French pointed out some things I’m going to explore in some upcoming posts.
My particular fascination was how she explains the way in which her international background helps her see things and the relationship between being an actor and a writer. It’s worth taking a gander:
Jenny writes dark fiction that her mother hates. Her stories and essays have appeared in Across the Margin, Pantheon, Shimmer, Black Denim Lit, Skive, and others. When she’s not writing her own stuff, she’s reading mysteries for Criminal Element. When she’s not writing fiction or reviews, she’s writing/directing/performing/designing plays at Springs Ensemble Theatre.
